Load Bearing Studs
Sixties, seventies, eighties, and whatever else still gets a room on its feet. Songs everybody already knows, played loud enough to matter.

02 · Who we are
The Band
Load Bearing Studs has been playing together for 6 months and still gets along with each other. They mostly play music that has been written by someone from the past, and if not, it was a mistake. They’ll get it right the next gig. They don’t wear costumes and only Peter dances (sort of). Their style has been described as freelance with a touch of selling out. They can be found somewhere, I am certain of it. They really appreciate taking pictures with Tiffany, who gives them no choice.
-
Kent H Vocals / Comic
Kent is awesome and everybody you talk to will admit it. Unless he hasn’t paid them yet, then he’s kind of a prick. He is from Martinez, and has become that city’s evangelist.
-
Peter W Lead / Rhythm Guitar, Backing Vocals
Peter has been playing music since before he was born and his guitar was born with him. This really pissed off his mom, so she kicked him out at the tender age of zero and he started panhandling immediately. He is now happily married to a real woman who lives in Canada, honestly. He divides his time between killing ants and picking his nose. He is from Pleasant Hill, but won’t admit it.
-
Charlie W Lead / Rhythm Guitar
Charlie has been playing music for at least a minute and still rents his guitar. He plays to his cat who sings along. He still has hair and proudly rubs it in to the rest of the band members. He spends his time shooting videos of his unsuspecting neighbors. He is from Arcata and has a long drive on the regular.
-
Kemper M Bass Guitar
Kemper plays bass. He’s a bass player. Still. He is from Oakland, and fights his way in and out of town every night.
-
Joe H Drums / Percussion, Backing Vocals
Joe told me to f-off, so f his bio.
